Over 2 million Xbox One units have been sold since they went up for sale 18 days ago.
The systems launched on November 22 and since then 83 million hours have been spent by users on games and other apps for the consoles.
According to Yusuf Mehdi, the corporate vice president of strategy and marketing, the Xbox Ones have already sold out at multiple locations.
The units allow for new features like television and Skype access, as well as music apps.
