Katy Perry’s own “teenage dream” is coming true as she revealed several songs from her upcoming album.
The 28-year-old songstress debuted 12 tracks from her latest project ‘Prism’ in New York City Thursday night. Her first single titled “Roar” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, trumping Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”.
She spoke on her vision for future concert performances: “I’m very excited to bring visuals to a lot of the songs and play them live.”
Her new album will feature 13 songs and includes appearances by Bloodshy, Greg Kurstin, and Dr. Luke, just to name a few.
The album is scheduled to release on October 22.
