E! Online said hackers were able to gain access to their texting and Twitter accounts and sent erroneous news alerts and messages about Justin Bieber and Angelina Jolie. The Syrian Electronic Army claimed responsibility for the hacking.
E! Online is currently working with Twitter to fix the situation, and an investigation is underway.
