R&B singer Chris Brown is back in hot water with the legal system.
Brown had a court appearance scheduled in the District of Columbia for Monday in regards to the misdemeanor assault charge he was pinned with after both he and his bodyguard were arrested in October for punching a man in the face for trying to hop into a picture with Brown.
The singer was ordered to check into rehab after a court appearance in Los Angeles last week.
His new court date was rescheduled for January 8 after his lawyers argued that he should not have to leave rehab to attend Monday’s hearing.
