Chris Brown charged for hit and run

Although two charges against Chris Brown have been dropped, the singer is still accused of a hit and run after a minor traffic crash.

According to a court spokesperson, Brown’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. A judge also ordered Brown to show up at a sheriff’s station within a week to be booked.

Prosecutors dismissed charges of driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance during a hearing on Tuesday.

Brown sped away from an accident scene in May after allegedly having a confrontation with the driver of the other vehicle. Brown refused to provide is license and insurance information.

The hit and run charges led a judge to revoke his probation last week, which was connected to his beating of former girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown’s representative said last week that the singer expects all charges to be dropped and probation reinstated this week.
