Billie Joe Armstrong makes progress in rehab

The band Green Day decided to cancel the remainder of its 2012 ¡Tre! tour dates and move almost tow dozen of them to early 2013 after its frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, had a meltdown onstage. After Armstrong’s public meltdown, a Green Day representative stated  that the band apologized to its fans and said that Armstrong was going to enter substance abuse rehabilitation. That was over three months ago. Now, Green Day has good news for its fans. Armstrong has been doing well in rehab and is ready to resume touring. “We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” the band wrote on their site. “I’m getting better every day,” Armstrong wrote. “So now, without further ado, the show must go on.”
