Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose was robbed Tuesday after a private concert held in Paris. Three gold-and-diamond necklaces worth $200,000 were taken from the 50-year-old singer’s dressing room. Paris Judicial Police have opened an investigation into the robbery.
Rose is in Paris as part of a tour of Europe and Israel and held his private gig of 100 attendees after a public performance at Bercy stadium. He is the only remaining member of the original line-up of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band whose hits included “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “November Rain.” The group’s next show is on Friday in Germany and the tour ends July 22 in Spain.
