Author Ray Bradbury dies at 91

Science fiction writer Ray Bradbury died Tuesday night. A statement released by HarperCollins mentions that Bradbury, who was 91, “”died peacefully … in Los Angeles, after a lengthy illness.” For more than 70 years, Bradbury wrote hundreds of short stories and close to 50 books. His vision of a high-tech future yielded classic books such as “Fahrenheit 451,” “The Martian Chronicles” and “Something Wicked This Way Comes.” He also scripted the 1956 film version of “Moby Dick” and wrote for “The Twilight Zone.”
