Writings of accused murderer read to jury

“No self respecting patriarch would not murder an adversary who crosses the family,” and “Violence wins. Let that be a lesson to all members of the enforcement class,” are just a few examples of the often violent writings of Charles Severance, the man who intended to murder three people and successfully murdered one in 2013. Most of the writings, seized from search warrants, were written by hand, and offered a guideline to Severance’s growing violent tendencies against law enforcement.
