A Howard County teacher was found guilty on Tuesday of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy he met on the internet over an instant messaging program after faking his name and age. 37-year-old Christopher Russell Fox pleaded not guilty in court but was found guilty of a 3rd-degree sex offense. The teen reported to the police that Fox engaged in numerous sexual acts with him but did not use violence. Fox’s sentencing date has been set for January 21, 2016.
