WORLD NEWS – Gabriel Attal becomes France’s youngest and first gay prime minister

Gabriel Attal, 34, became France’s youngest-ever and first openly gay prime minister on Tuesday. His predecessor Elisabeth Borne resigned Monday.

Attal currently serves as the country’s education minister. He becomes the fourth prime minister under President Emmanuel Macron since he took office in 2017.
