Shots were fired at a state police patrol car and another vehicle early Wednesday on Interstate 95 in Richmond. The shots cracked the windshields of both vehicles but did not penetrate the car and injure anyone. The trooper is reported having heard one loud pop, and the other driver, a Goochland County resident, reported having heard two. All bullets recovered were determined to have been small-caliber.
