Celebrity chef Kerry Simon, a former victor in Iron Chef America, died on Friday at age 60 after two years battling multiple system atrophy. “On behalf of everyone at Simon Hospitality Group and all of our restaurants, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Kerry Simon,” Simon’s business partner Cory Harwell said. “We’ve admired his passion for life and his amazing desire for greatness in each of our restaurants. There are no words to describe how much we will miss our colleague, our leader, and our friend.”
