The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says that man whose body was found in a burning car at a Virginia gas station was intentionally set ablaze. Investigators found that 37-year-old Zaheer Mazhar had set the fire at the BP station Monday night, says Sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. James Cooper in a news release Wednesday. Cooper says the car became engulfed in flames and that once firefighters put out the fire, Mazhar was found dead in the backseat. The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
