The National Park Service and National Park Foundation announced Wednesday that the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be held December 4. Tickets for the lighting ceremony will be available through an online lottery that will run from October 17 at 10 a.m. and close on October 20 at the National Tree Lighting website. Tickets are also available by telephone at 1-877-444-6777 for those who lack internet access. The event is expected to draw thousands and will be held, as usual, in the White House Ellipse in President’s Park.
