The National Archives are set to release records from the Clinton administration, including from the times surrounding the Whitewater investigation and Bill Clinton’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. The records will also cover the 1993 death of Vince Foster, deputy White House counsel and the end of Clinton’s presidency. These will bring the total number of pages released on the Clinton administration by the National Archives up to about 30,000. Interest in the material is high, as many are focused on the potential candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016’s presidential election.
