President Obama said Friday that some CIA officials who interrogated suspects after 9/11 attacks “crossed a line” into torture. ‘We did a whole lot of things that were right, but we tortured some folks,” Obama said while discussing with Senate on how to enhanced interrogation techniques. But the president tried to remind people the pressure the National Security team had after September 11, “”it’s important for us not to feel too sanctimonious in retrospect about the tough job that those folks had.” Obama also criticized congressional Republicans for breaking off without agreement on a border bill and stated he would soon take an executive action to address the rush of migrant children coming from Central America.
