High school football player dies after tackle

A high school football player from Atlanta, Georgia died on Friday after tacking another player in a scrimmage game according to medical officials. Deantre Turman broke his neck making the tackle, said forensic examiner Mike Alsip. The accident occurred at a school in College Park, Georgia.

According to Turman’s coach, Glenn Ford, Turman became limp and unresponsive after the play. The coach and other people attempted to revive him until an ambulance arrived. Turnman was pronounced dead at the hospital.
