A private airplane from Texas, short of landing on an airport runway during a heavy snowstorm in Colorado, crashed, killing two people and injuring four, authorities reported. There were six passengers on the plane. According to the Denver Post, the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden, about 25 miles west of the ski resort town of Steamboat Springs.
The four injured people were taken to a hospital in Steamboat Springs. The names of the victims and type of plane involved have not been released.
