On Monday, thirty-six-year-old Kendell Richburg pleaded guilty to charges of distributing heroin and possessing a firearm. The U.S. Attorney General claimed Kendell told a drug dealer to sell him drugs in exchange for information about the dealer’s customers. Kendell planned on arresting the dealer’s customers.
Police Commissioner Anthony Batts called the case a success for Baltimore, showing the police department’s drive for safety and liability. Kendell faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison. He will be sentenced on June 11th.
