Former Anne Arundel County Executive, John Leopold has been denied any special privileges while serving his 30-day jail sentence. Reports claim that Leopold requests skim milk, cheerios, an electric shaver and other specialties that are not usually provided at the detention center.
Superintendent Terry Kokolis said Leopold, “has burdened staff with multiple special requests and needs that have not and will not be provided.” Leopold is serving a 30-day jail sentence as well as 30-days of home detention for forcing members of his campaign staff to perform inappropriate tasks such as emptying his urinary catheter bag.
