Prosecutors brought forth numerous charges such as criminal negligent manslaughter, reckless driving and negligent driving on a young woman after she killed a motorcyclist in a crash in which she was texting and driving.
Twenty-year-old Elizabeth Haley Meyers was charged Monday in the death of 30-year-old Jonathan Wesley Roberts after Anne Arundel County officials say she drove into him while texting as she was simultaneously crossing Route 3 on March 10.
Roberts was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
