Two dozen people were rescued from a ride at Six Flags in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on Sunday evening, when a train on the Joker’s Jinx roller coaster stopped on the track, about 45 feet above the ground. There were seven children and 17 adults stuck on the ride. All passengers have been reported safe and not hurt. The riders were removed by using a bucket. The riders are being strapped in place within each car,and pulled out one by one. It is not clear at this point what caused the ride to stop on the tracks.
