The term “high roller” will soon be taking on a whole new meaning on the Las Vegas strip.

The infamous city will be home to the world’s largest Ferris wheel, named the “High Roller”.  At 550 feet, the wheel supports 3.5 million pounds of steel and contains 28 caged seats.  The assembly of the parts has taken place in Colorado, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, France, Japan and China over the last two years.

Construction is expected to be completed early next year.
