Lady Gaga suffers concussion during show

Lady Gaga suffered a concussion on Sunday after being struck on the head by a pole during a concert in New Zealand. While removing a set prop from the central stage, a backup dancer accidentally hit the 26-year-old singer during the performance of “Judas.” Gaga, holding a mock machine gun, walked unsteadily off the stage rubbing her head. But the flamboyant singer, famous for songs like “Just Dance” and “Bad Romance,” returned to the stage telling the crowd in Auckland, “I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don’t you worry, I will finish this show.” The New York-native went on to perform 16 more songs.

Lady Gaga will be taking her show to Brisbane next for the Australian-leg of her Born this Way tour that ends in Barcelona, Spain on Oct. 9.
