According to Ken Roosa, the celebrity doctor dashed to his aid on Saturday after he collapsed after a 5k race in Salt Lake City.
Footage from the race showed Dr. Oz kneeling on the pavement assisting the 53-year-old Roosa.
Roosa says he was not used to distance running and was suffering from dehydration and stress. He was hospitalized for 30 hours.
Dr. Oz later posted a picture on Facebook showing him at Roosa’s bedside.
On Tuesday, Dr. Oz rushed to help a British tourist struck by a cab in New York City.
