Caleb Johnson, 23, has been named season 13 winner of American Idol on Wednesday night. The Asheville, North Carolina native won against opponent Jena Irene, 17, from Farmington Hills, Michigan. “This is crazy,” Johnson said receiving the news from host Ryan Seacrest. The two-hour finale included performances from John Legend, Kiss, Demi Lovato and Lady Antebellum, while the judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. and Randy Jackson all joined in.
