VIRGINIA NEWS – Ken Krieger, well respected Virginia soccer coach, dies at 69

Ken Krieger, a respected high school soccer coach, died on Monday at age 69. As a coach he won four state titles and two national championships. He has the most wins by a Virginia High School League coach with a record of 386-191-37. 

Krieger was inducted into the Virgina-DC Soccer Hall of Fame in 2010. His daughter, Ali Krieger, is a two-time World Cup winner and National Women’s Soccer League champion.
