Norfolk police officers charged with embezzlement

The Norfolk Police Department released a statement Wednesday stating that two policemen, Randolph Brann and Jacob Wright — each of whom have been working for the police department for seven years — have been charged with at least four counts of embezzlement over $200 from 2011 to 2014. Courts currently do not show whether or not the officers have attorneys, and calls placed by the Associated Press to the two have not yet been answered. The investigation was accomplished by the Virginia state police.
