Former Sen. Jim Webb running for president

Jim Webb, the former Virginia senator is running as a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election. He expressed his interest in the nomination last November, the first to do so in the Democratic field. Webb is a Vietnam veteran and he was the Navy Secretary during the Reagan presidency. He spent one term in Senate in 2006. Webb has made trips to important political states Iowa and New Hampshire, but he must beat frontrunner Hilary Clinton as well as several other candidates for the Democratic nomination.
