On Sunday evening, at least 25 people were killed and ten injured after a suicide car bomb went off near a U.S. base in eastern Afghanistan. The bomb went off in the city of Khost near a coalition forces base, according the police chief of Khost Province, Faizullah Ghairat. The United States military is gathering more information about the attack. It is currently unknown who is responsible for the bombing.
