A Wisconsin father has been convicted of locking his teenage daughter in the basement of their home and starving her. In November, the 42-year-old father was convicted of child abuse and other charges and was also found guilty of felony child neglect in March. At one point, the teenage girl weighed only 68 pounds. The father faces a maximum sentence of 28 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing on Wednesday. The teen’s stepmother was sentenced to five years in prison for reckless endangerment and causing mental harm to the girl in July. The teen’s stepbrother is set for trial in February to face accusations that he sexually abused the teen.
