Model Elle Macpherson will no longer be hosting NBC’s “Fashion Star.” Macpherson hosted the designer competition show during its first season earlier this year. But just because the Australian businesswoman will no longer be hosting the program, doesn’t mean she won’t be involved in the show. The 48-year-old model told the New York Post, “The show is in great hands, and although I will not be hosting this season, I will still be very involved [and]will be reviewing the format for the upcoming season.” Macpherson will stay on as an executive producer, and The Post says she’s also developing her own show, “Goddess with Guts.” “Fashion Star” mentors Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos are each expected to stay on the show, though the upcoming season may not feature an official host.
