Six member of the Maryland and Virginia Black Eagle Ryders club were on their way to Atlanta on Saturday morning when they stopped on the shoulder of the highway after one of them had a problem with his bike. They were on the side of Interstate 85 in Guildford County, North Carolina, when a semi-truck lost control and hit all six of them. Arnie Morris and Kenneth Jefferson have died from their injuries. The truck left the scene of the crime but was caught when the driver had a flat tire. David Serna was charged with felony hit and run. Investigators say that he was not impaired by drugs or alcohol and may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
