Teens rob, assault man on trail

Police apprehended two suspects in relation to the robbery and assault of a pedestrian on a trail in South Reston on Tuesday. The victim was walking on a path when a group of eight teenagers began to assault him and stole his cell phone and money. Police arrived and found the group running away. They apprehended two of the suspects, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, and they are being held pending investigation.
