Governor Larry Hogan said Thursday that his administration would try to recall Sons of Confederate Veterans license plates, which include the Confederate flag. The governor said that only about 150 would be affected by the removal. On June 18, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Texas could refuse to issue a license plate with the Confederate flag on it. Hogan also said in the new conference that he does not support the removal of Confederate memorials in the state.
