Earth Treks Climbing Centers announced in a press release its plans to open an indoor climbing gym in Crystal City, Virginia by late spring of 2016. The planned location would be its fifth. The newest building would exceed 45,000 square feet in area, making it one of the largest climbing gyms in the nation. The gym, to be located at 1235 S. Clark Street, would include not only a climbing wall but also private climbing teaching areas, yoga fitness rooms and gear shops, among others.
