Baby left on side of road in Pasadena

Police found a two- or three-month-old infant girl in a car seat on the side of a Pasadena road after a call from a resident. The baby was found near Druid Ave. on the Fourth of July after 11 p.m. On Sunday morning, a woman went to Anne Arundel police claiming that she was the infant’s mother. They confirmed her identity in the afternoon. There were scuff marks on the baby carrier and items in the area that indicated the carrier may have fallen from a vehicle in motion. The baby is being cared for at a local hospital and will be released to the Department of Child Protective Services. Police are still investigating.
