Former Md. Gov. Erlich not running for president

Former Maryland Governor Robert Erlich said in a phone interview Monday that he has no plans to run for President on the Republican ticket, despite several trips to the important primary state New Hampshire. Erlich is instead focusing his influence on the super PAC Turning Point America. He is an honorary chair of the PAC. Erlich also denied any current plans to run for Senate after Sen. Barbara Mikulski’s retirement.
