Bust of former Supreme Court justice vandalized

The Frederick Police Department released frames from a surveillance tape on Tuesday showing two suspects vandalizing a bust of former Supreme Court justice Roger Brooke Taney outside City Hall. Taney is most memorable for writing the 1857 Dred Scott decision banning citizenry for anyone of African descent. The bust, found on Sunday, was covered with red paint carried by the suspects in a can covered by a plastic bag.
