Man dead after falling in creek
On Friday morning, Anne Arundel County man Ronald Gressit drowned after falling into the Cornfield Creek while crabbing. Although his wife and a nearby kayaker tried to save him, the 63-year-old did not make it out of the water. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department recovered his body after 1 p.m. This is the 15th boating fatality so far in Maryland this year, already more than during all of 2014.
