Former deputy sheriff to be sentenced

Former Prince George County deputy sheriff, Lamar McIntyre, admitted to having sex with an inmate and is scheduled to be sentenced Friday afternoon in Upper Marlboro. Prosecutors have agreed to a sentence no more than 18 months for McIntyre. He plead guilty to having consensual sex with a woman waiting to see a judge in June 2012. The encounter took place in a courthouse holding cell and the woman reported the encounter to corrections department’s staff.
