Baltimore attracts potential casino developers with sweetened incentives

Officials in Baltimore have reportedly offered more money and guarantees to the potential developers of a city casino in order to attract developers. According to the Baltimore Sun, the winning bidder will have to make required changes so that the casino and nearby neighborhoods can have a smooth transition.

The developer will be able to use up to $6 million to help ease the process. The city’s spending board will determine the new terms at a meeting on Wednesday. Baltimore is one of five locations approved to build a casino.
