Entertainment – Bryan Cranston to star in new ‘Power Rangers’ movie

Actor Bryan Cranston tweeted that he will play the role of Zordon in the upcoming Power Rangers movie that comes out in March 2017. Cranston wrote in his tweet that he was “excited” to play the role. After Cranston’s announcement, the official Power Rangers Twitter account tweeted him in congratulations. Cranston’s character acts as a mentor to the Power Rangers, and will star alongside Elizabeth Banks, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott and RJ Cyler. The movie is based on the popular Power Rangers franchise and TV show that started in the 90s with “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”
