Entertainment – ‘Shield’ actor convicted of wife’s murder

Actor Michael Jace, best known for his role as a police officer on the drama “The Shield,” was convicted of second-degree murder Tuesday for murdering his wife, April Jace. The jury found Jace, 53, guilty of shooting his wife at their Los Angeles home in front of the couple’s two sons, who were 8 and 5 at the time. April was shot once in the back and two times in her legs. Jace, who was upset that his wife wanted a divorce and was convinced she was having an affair, now faces up to 40 years to life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for June 10.
