10-year-old Arianna Davis was killed in the backseat of her family’s car on Mother’s Day after she was struck by a stray bullet. On Monday, 19-year-old Koran Gregory was arrested and charged with Davis’ killing.

Police were allegedly able to connect Gregory to Davis’ murder due to a gray backpack he was seen wearing in surveillance footage on the day of the shooting. Investigators also used facial recognition to link a photo from Gregory’s Instagram account to him. Police also concluded a search of Gregory’s where they found three firearms and one of the firearms was linked to the bullet shell found at the scene of the shooting.
