WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. holds drug take-back day

With the rise in opioid overdoses, the District’s Attorney General Karl Racine wants the drug take-back event to be an effective way to lower those casualties.  The event will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at One Judiciary Square in the lobby of Racine’s office.  Racine’s office is working with the DEA on this event to lower opioid deaths, which have been steadily rising in the District in recent years.
