Secret Service under scrutiny after man jumps fence

Omar Gonzalez, a former Army sniper jumped the White House fence and made it into the front door of the building Friday night. The First Family had left the building for Camp David about 10 minutes before he reached the residence and no one was injured. The incident has caused uproar about the effectiveness of the Secret Service in recent months. According to The Washington Post, the Secret Service seems to be making plans to introduce more checkpoints and screenings for visitors and workers, even in public areas outside the gates.
