Reston teen fatally shot

Fairfax County police confirmed that a teenager died after being shot in Reston.

Seventeen-year-old Juan Carlos Godoy was shot at a Reston home Friday and pronounced dead Sunday.

According to police 26-year-old Javier DeJesus Martinez has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm.

Authorities are not yet sure whether the shooting was accidental.  Additional charges may be filed upon further investigation.
