Netflix will raise its Internet video streaming prices by $1 per month for new customers. Existing customers will continue to pay their $7.99 for the next two years, before prices change for everyone. An email sent out to Netflix users informed them that the company needs more money in order to afford paying for more original programming for shows such as “House of Cards” and “Orange is the New Black”.
